“It was God who saved my Life” -Jide Kosoko

Veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Jide Kosoko who last Friday was involved in a frightful accident which damaged his Ford Utility Vehicle has revealed that he is well, hale and hearty.
The respected thespian disclosed that it was actually God who made him escape unharmed and that he has since recovered from the scare.
He says, ““I have got over it and really thank God for saving my life. It occurred very close to the Ikeja Shopping Mall, just by the Bola Tinubu statue. It was as a result of brake failure. Thankfully, I was not hurt though the car kept swinging from left to right before it finally stopped. I survived miraculously and was assisted out of the vehicle by officials of the Lagos State Transport Management Authority and emergency workers.”
Lagos born Prince Jide Kosoko is the former President of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners who have put in five decades into the industry. His versatility and dexterity has endeared him to many producers and directors in both English and Yoruba movie industries and his interpretation of scripts is unmatched. His family is also influential in the industry as some of his children have taken after their father’s act. Most prominent of these are recently married Shola Kosoko and the Lagos State University Graduate of Theatre Arts, Bidemi Kosoko.
